Wireless Science invents and patents advanced solutions for the wireless market. We persistently refine our solutions, conduct real-world market trials, create demand, update our patent portfolio and repeat the process until the solution is market ready and extensively protected. We then take the resultant solution to market ourselvels or offer it for license or acquisition by manufacturers, service providers, software companies and content providers. Our patent portfolio includes significant improvements for wireless messaging and entertainment, including: wireless email, wireless voice messaging, wireless instant messaging, media players, wireless DVR's, cable boxes, entertainment systems and associated wireless and web-based information and mixed media services.
Our novel solutions enhance emerging wireless and internet devices, applications and services for a wide variety of customers. One such concept we named TalkBackSM, our patented voice email reply technology. Beta tested by a large percentage of our 35,000 test center subscribers, TalkBack® has proven to be a superior alternative to typing reply text on telephone keypads, especially while driving a car. Another innovation is our wireless LinkPushSM and MMS technology, notifying the device user that specific information such as a specific message, a news video, or a song has become available and providing the means to access it. Effectively, it is as if the user has been sent an informative hyperlink, right to their cell phone and performing an action on the information without having first received it.
In addition to emerging products and services, our portfolio includes significant improvements for mature industries. One such example is Visual Voice Mail. Our Direct Access Voicemail adds a “Push” element containing message header information. Remote information corresponding to selected headers can be downloaded, played and recorded simultaneously. This technology provides the capability to directly access a specific voice mail message without having to scroll through and listen to a multiplicity of unwanted messages.
The Wireless Science Partnership has a long history of providing patented solutions to industry leaders. One such company is Korean Mobile Telephone for our paging technology patents and another is Motorola for our "Cell Phone Answering Machine" and voice storage patents.
Our intellectual property portfolio contains numerous pending and issued domestic and international patents (over 1600 patent claims issued, allowed and pending) related to a variety of wireless and web-based messaging technologies.
